It’s A Guy Thing!

I saw a couple of challenges this weekend with a masculine card theme, so I thought I would make one.  I always need cards to give to my family and sometimes it needs to be guyish, so here's my try at a male birthday card. It certainly isn't easy to make a card without all the bling, but I like how it came out.

Just Popping By To Say Hi!

I made an easel card and, I have to say, it was so much fun putting this together. This was my first easel card (I have no idea why it took me so long to make finally make one), but I think it is adorable. I can't wait to make another easel card!

Happy Sunday! Another fun scrappy challenge!

Another Sunday brings another fun scrappy challenge at Amanda's Crafts and More. This week's challenge is to create a snow/winter theme page. 

I created a winter themed layout using an SVG file from SVGCuts.com. This is a retired file, sorry it is no longer available.

*This is a LAYOUT challenge
*Must be a new layout for this challenge 
*Must link directly to the project and not just your blog or gallery 
*Please use a Cricut or SVG cut somewhere on you layout
* You will have a week to submit your page

Let it Snow! Just a little…not too much…unless it cancels school!

There is no snow here at all this year. We usually, by now, have at least a foot of snow. This time last year, we had about two feet of snow on the ground. Although, I don't miss the mess the snow makes or having to drive on slushy yucky roads, it's not officially winter in New England without the snow.  
 
With snow on the mind this week, I made this cute little snowman card. 

 

 

I made this card using an SVG file kit from http://myscrapchick.com. I embossed the top and bottom mats with my Cuttlebug and added the stamp. I stitched around the stamp with my white gel pen and put the cute little pink ribbon on.

“Come On Baby!” Blog Hop

Today, I made an 8 by 8 scrapbook page. I cut the letters with the font table in SCAL and used some ribbon from my stash and adhered a cute little white button. I then stitched around the picture mat and page with my white gel pen.
