Reindeer food favor

Today, we were very busy getting ready for Santa to come to our house. Of course, it's important to remember the reindeer too! So, today, we made reindeer food. It's quick, fun, and easy to do. I used (pretzel stick) goody bags to put the reindeer food in and cut a little off the top of the bag to make the bag a little smaller. I cut the reindeer at three inches using "Create A Critter" cartridge.

To make the reindeer food, we spooned in a few spoons of oats and mixed in some red and green glitter. On Christmas Eve, we are going to sprinkle it on the front yard, so the glitter will sparkle, letting the reindeer know where to land, of course. In the meantime, they can eat the oats and be on their way.

Stocking Gift Card Holder

For this hop, I made a cute stocking gift card holder.

RECIPE:

The stocking is an SVG file I bought from MyScrapChick.com

I cut the stocking using SCAL and embossed the top of the stocking with my Swiss Dots folder. I used my Fiskars ribbon punch for the green border and tied a green ribbon around and attached a cute jingle bell. I faux stitched the red part of the stocking.

All About Winter Blog hop

Welcome to "All About Winter" Blog Hop! I am so glad you could join us today for this fun hop featuring lots of fun winter projects.

Today, I made a Winter Holiday Card. I made this card with a group of Stampin' Up friends one evening as we chatted about the Holidays, the busyness of the season, and all things we had to do between now and then. I love getting together with this group of ladies. They are great people who love to stamp and make cards. So, here is the card I made that evening…

Get “Whale” Soon

Here's another card I made for my mom. She is doing better as the days go on and is in better spirits. She has adjusted to being home full-time. She is reading, listening to books on CD, and puttering around her house. It's nice to see my mom enjoying her time off and resting. So, I have been trying to make little things for her to cheer her up and keep her busy.

Here's a "Get Whale Soon" card I made using a SVG file I purchased from MyScrapChick.com. I thought it was perfect for my mom while she recovers.

The whale is covered in silver Stickles. I think I took the picture to close and the Stickles look a little gritty. Lesson learned! I also used 3D pop dots to pop the whale off the page.

I am entering this into "Cuttin' Up With Class" link up party. I love their SVG files there, so come join us!

Sorry you had a bad “Fall”

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Last weekend, my mom fell in her yard. She went to the ER thinking she may have broken her arm. As she was there, we learned she would need surgery, as she needed a full elbow replacement, which would require a transfer by ambulance to another hospital. She had the surgery within 24 hours and was home a couple of days later. Well, she can't drive, she can't go to work, she can't cook or clean, so she is home being forced to rest, which she doesn't like at all. She has been a little down lately, so to cheer her up, I made this card.

RECIPE:
This card was made using an SVG file from MyScrapChick
I used all scraps of paper from my stash to complete this card.
The tree was cut from "Stretch My Imagination" at 4 inches
The little leaves were punched with a little leaf punch that I've had for ages!

May All Your Dreams Come True

My daughter is my little princess. She loves anything pink and girly (which I am secretly thrilled about) and loves her princesses! She loves wearing pink and has to have (in her words) pretty pants, a pretty shirt, and pretty shoes on every day. She cracks me up when it comes to dressing. I'm sure in years to come, this isn't going to be so cute, but I will enjoy it for now. She recently got into dressing up in "Pretty dress like princess," so we are hoping Santa brings all kinds of princess dress up clothes.

So, for my little princess, I made a princess page. I imagined it to have lots of sparkle, bling, and everything princess. It came out pretty much as I imagined it to be. I love when that happens!

RECIPE:
I used "Paper Doll Dress Up" to make the princess, castle, grass, and clouds.
The princess paper is from Michaels.
I used silver sparkles to add to the dress and crown to give it a shimmery look
I used silver Sparkles to outline the stars on the clouds.
To outline the clouds, I used my light blue Souffle pens.
I embossed the castle towers with my Swiss Dots folder
Clear gemstones (AKA Bling) was added to the crown, dress, and wand.
