Ribbbon: Michaels ribbon stash
Owl: Cut at 2. 5 inches from "Create A Critter" cartridge
Embossing; Done with the Cuttlebug embossing folder

HAPPY EASTER!
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter with your friends and family. The bunny was here last night and left eggs everywhere filled with chocolate!

Tip Tuesday at the Creative Cutter Room
April 3rd, 2012
Hello! I am so happy to be part of the Creative Cutter Room's Tip Tuesday. Today, I have a quick and helpful tip to help you organize your stamps.
I love stamps! I love to shop for stamps, I love to use stamps on whatever I can, when I can! These are all my small stamp sets. I buy the "Studio G" stamps and the "Studio 112" stamps at Michaels. I love that they only cost between fifty cents and a dollar.
I had these stamps all stacked in a drawer. When I am working on a project, I have to go through all my stamps to find either a sentiment or a picture stamp. It takes up time and wasn't very organized. I needed a better system.
I had some empty CD cases from a while back. I took out the black centers that hold the CD in place, so that they were empty.
I took out all the stamps and tried to lay them in piles of sentiments, Spring, Halloween, Christmas, etc. It took me a few minutes to decide how I wanted the stamps organized, but I finally found a system I thought would work for me.
Then, I started putting the stamps in the cases. Some stamps will stick to the top of the case, while others stick to the back (it depends on whether it is a cling stamp or a clear stamp). When you close the CD case, the stamps will fit perfectly. Then, I ran into a small glich. Some of the stamps you can't quite see what they say or make out the picture, unless you look very closely. I wanted to be able to grab it quickly and be able to use it. So, I decided to cut up the clear cling page the stamps come on and adhere that to the CD case. Perfect!
I have one case just for sentiments, one case for Christmas, once case for Halloween, a case for Fall/ Thanksgiving and one case for Spring/Summer.
Hope you enjoyed my tip!
It’s Bunny Time!
April 2nd, 2012
Easter is almost here and I have been busy making some cute Easter cards. I love Easter with the bunnies and chicks and I especially love when the Easter bunny brings me lots of chocolate!
This card, is an easel card made with an SVG file from MyScrapChick.com. This card is 4.25 by 4.25 inches. The sentiment was heat embossed with pink embosssing powder.
RECIPE:
Size: 4.25 inches by 4.25 inches (easel card)
Sentiment: Wooden stamp from Michaels. Heat embossed with pink embossing powder
Bunny: SVG file from MyScrapChick.com. I embossed the ears with my Cuttlebug and then used pink ink and distressed the edges and inside. The bow is from my stash. I also used a pop dot under the nose and drew in the whiskers with a black gel pen. I made the cheeks with ink and a q-tip.
Twine: Pink and White from The Twinery
Button: from my button bin
Paper: All made with scraps from my scrap bin
