Thanksgiving Place Holder Tag

Thanksgiving Tag

I'm going to make one for each person in my family and put it on their plate before we sit down to eat. On the back, I'm going to put a question for each person to read and answer during the meal. My mom's question will be, "What is one thing that took place over the last year that you are most thankful for? It makes for a fun thoughtful meal with lots of fun conversation.

HOW TO MAKE:

  • I cut the tag five and a half inches by three inches using my Gypsy. I used the Gypsy Wanderings to make the tag.
  • Next, I cut a piece of beige paper at four and a half by two and a half.
  • Then, I used a piece of brown construction paper cut at four inches by two inches. I ran it through my Cuttlebug to give it some texture.
  • I cut the pumpkin with my Gypsy at one and three quarters. I used the "Gypsy Wanderings" cartridge and shaded the pumpkin in a darker shade of orange. I used pop dots to give it some depth.
  • Using my leaf punch, I cut some leaves from scrap paper and put it around the tag.
  • Then, I made my Mom's name with a black journal pen.
  • To finish the project, I added some brown ribbon (Purchased at Michaels) and made a little bow for the pumpkin.
