Tree note card

I was running errands the other day and decided to stop at Joanne's Fabric to see what they had. For me, this is never a good idea. When I "stop in" at any craft store, I tend to come home with all kinds of stuff. Really, it's not a good thing at all! But, on this particular day, I only got one thing, this cute little tree stamp. The good thing about it is…it only cost me forty cents! Yay! I had a coupon and saw this stamp and thought I would see what I could make with it.

So, here it is….

I used earth tones to create this cute little card. Here's the recipe:

This card is cut out at 8 inches by four inches and scored at four inches to make the card four inches by four inches

I cut the beige paper at 3.75 inches by 3.75 inches and inked around the edges with brown ink. Then, I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the paper in swirls.

I cut the green paper at 3 inches by three inches and used my Martha Stewart "punch around the page" punch.

Lastly, I used brown ink to stamp the tree stamp, cut around it, and adhered it onto the paper.

I used pop dots under the fancy edge green paper to give it some dimension.

I love this stamp and your card is so pretty!! I am like you when it comes to going to the craft store.  I have took Kaylee with me to Joanns a few times and she says I spend way too much time in there, lol.

Wow that MS border really makes this card pop! That's quite a deal you got on that tree stamp and it looks great!
